Corvera Airport has now been open for a month and has continued to grow in an effort to increase tourism and to keep improving the airport. This has included the creation of a number of bus and coach routes to and from Corvera Airport. Most recently, this included the announcement that a new bus route had been planned from Mazarrón and Corvera Airport, with plans to add more. This route has now officially been confirmed and will also connect with Lorca and Águilas.

Patricio Valverde, the minister for development in the regional government of Murcia, has stated that this new service will begin running when the summer flight schedules are in operation at Corvera Airport. Timetables for the route are not yet confirmed, but will be adjusted according to the arrival and departure times at Corvera Airport. Other bus routes have also previously been confirmed, including routes between Corvera Airport and La Manga del Mar Menor and Cabo de Palos. It is not yet known if the newly confirmed bus route will include a stop at Camposol, though it is expected that more routes will be added in the future as Corvera Airport continues to grow.

Continuing to discuss the new route, Valverde also announced that the cost of a bus ride between Mazarrón and Corvera Airport will be approximately €15 total. When the route is implemented and times are confirmed in line with the summer schedule, visitors will be able to get a better idea of prices and times ahead of travelling. Mari Carmen Morena, the Mayor of Águilas has also welcomed the new route.
