Corvera airport in Murcia continues to work towards strengthening its position in the market as a global airport with the word out that there is to be a new flight route operating from the autumn.
Binter Canarias S.A. is a Spanish based airline operating mostly from the Canary Islands in Gran Canaria and Tenerife. It is a regional air carrier offering inter-island services within the Canaries and other Atlantic islands.
According to La Verdad, the new route will launch at the end of October and will initially fly twice a week. Expected flight time from Las Palmas to Corvera is 2.5 – 3 hours. The new flight route proposed also comes with additional perks – it is proposed that passengers using the Murcia – Gran Canaria route will also be able to fly to any other airport as an onward bound connection within the Canary Islands such as Tenerife, La Palma or Lanzarote, at no extra cost.
