2024-06-27 G.C. President’s Letter

Dear Owners,

I would like to provide you with some information regarding recent events and explain the reasons behind our actions.

On June 10th, Antonio (from INMHO) arranged for a new company to visit the resort at 8 AM to discuss our requirements for street cleaning.

On June 12th, we experienced a DANA (previously known as a Gota Fría), which was not properly forecasted and came unexpectedly to many areas in Spain.

On June 13th, the Murcia City Council attended and only cleaned the entrance, which can hardly be considered adequate cleaning.

Many municipalities in our area required specialised machinery to clean the mud; after all, we were not the only ones affected. After overcoming a significant amount of bureaucracy, the cleaning company began operations on June 25th, and this process will take some time. I want to clarify that this is a comprehensive street cleaning, and the costs will be claimed from the insurance consortium. We have instructed security to record the company’s entry and exit times for better oversight.

Regarding the slopes, I have received feedback from Facebook regarding the work carried out. I would like to confirm once again, for those who may not have read previous minutes, that these works were conducted by the City Council following a community claim through our lawyer, and we did not incur any costs for these works. For those learning about this now, please direct any questions or comments to your president or INMHO for clarification.

It is true that seeds were planted on the slopes and they were watered twice initially, but unfortunately, this has ceased. Now, following the DANA, we need to verify whether the seeds have been washed away or if the plants will germinate.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Yours sincerely,
Patricia Vets
President of the General Community
